Aten Security · Founded 2025

The people behind Aten.

We build runtime security for AI agents. Our team and advisors bring experience in security engineering, enterprise products, and government delivery to the decisions agents make in real workflows.

Our focus

Give teams a practical control point between an agent’s request and its consequences.

Founder story

Built by a security engineer who has lived the operational gap.

Nyah Check founded Aten after building and operating security systems across cloud, automation, and digital-asset companies, including Komand Security, Altitude Networks, and Anchorage Digital.

That work exposed a recurring problem: organizations could define access and reconstruct events after the fact, but had few reliable ways to intervene when software took a risky action in real time. Aten exists to make that intervention point dependable, fast, and auditable.

Why now

Why we started Aten.

Access controls establish which systems an agent can reach. Aten adds a check at the integrated execution boundary, using the action’s task, session, and resource context.

That distinction matters as agents move money, change records, call external systems, and operate across regulated environments. Aten sits in the execution path so teams can evaluate an action before it runs and retain evidence of the decision afterward.

The goal is straightforward: give organizations a practical control point between agent intent and real-world consequence.

How we build

Principles for consequential systems.

01

Evidence over assertion

Security controls should produce durable evidence teams can inspect, export, and trust.

02

Fail safely

High-consequence actions need explicit failure behavior, not optimistic assumptions.

03

Meet operators where they work

Controls belong in the execution path and the engineering workflows that already exist.

04

Turn integrations into product

Every deployment should make the platform faster to adopt and simpler to operate.
